HOUSE OF SKATE

As a skate school we take pride in doing things a little differently, being daring, and not being afraid to challenge the status quo.

And it's this same thinking that's led us to become the fastest growing skate school in the area, with a roaring community hundreds strong, an incredible team, and some cutting teaching methods.

FAQ

WHAT IF IT'S RAINING?

If there's a bit of rain forecast, we're all good with that. We'll make the most of the other options available to us, things like soccer, basketball, and any other wacky games we can think of.

If however the forecast looks terrible, like really horrible with rain set in all day, then we have two options:

Option 1: Switch into our Surf Holiday Camp

Yup, we have a Surf Holiday Camp that runs in conjunction with the Skate one.

Same times, same days.

The surf camp can be a great option as rain doesn't effect it whatsoever.

Option 2: Rescheduling for another day

If the Surf Camp option doesn't work for you we can simply reschedule you in to another day.

Either way, we've got you covered.

COVID

If you're child has tested positive for Covid and restrictions require them to isolate resulting in them not being able to attend the camp date, here's what we need you to do:

1. We'll need proof of the positive test result via the My Covid Record app - a simple screenshot will do.

2. Once that’s all been confirmed we'll then reschedule your booking into the next available camp date.

CANCELATIONS

School Holiday Camps requires 21 days notice for any cancelations.

All other notice periods generally warrant no refunds or credits as 50% of the booking payment has been spent on camp services.

House of Skate may be able to reschedule to another camp or offer discretionary credit pending costs incurred and occupancy of camps.

Early Bird Tickets are non refundable.

You have the ability to transfer your booking to another participant at no cost.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD GET'S INJURED THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE CAMP

If your child experiences an injury that impacts their participation in the camp please follow the following steps.

1. Report your injury in writing to hello@houseofskate.co

2. Please provide doctors note confirming their injury and reason for absence.

What happens next?

1. Your child will be enrolled in the next camp with their participation starting where their previous enrolment ceased.

WHAT SKATING LEVEL DOES MY CHILD NEED BE FOR THE CAMP?

This camp is suitable for children who are Level 1,2,3 &4 skaters.

IS EQUIPMENT PROVIDED?

We have plenty a selection of skateboards you can use, however if you have your own gear that you'd rather use by all means bring that along with you.

Safety and protective gear not provided.

IS IT FOR BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS?

Yup, it's a mixed program for boys and girls.

Everyone's welcome.

WHAT AGES CAN ATTEND

This camp is for kids who are aged between 6 -12.

DO YOU SUPPLY LUNCH

Unfortunately we don't. Best to bring along a packed lunch ready for the day.
